AMIE GOSSELIN

BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Amie is a communications consultant who spent five years living and working in Cambodia in the anti-trafficking and human rights sector. She has her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and is committed to helping organizations tell stories of survivors in ways which enhance dignity. Amie is currently based in Kelowna, BC.

RACHEL LOMAS

BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Rachel is an intensive care nurse at the Jewish General Hospital of Montreal and a member of the faculty of the Ingram School of Nursing at McGill University. As a healthcare practitioner, she appreciates the wide reaching effect of human trafficking on all areas of health. Joining the board of Chab Dai, Rachel looks forward to making her contribution to the fight to end human trafficking.

DANIEL PERRETT

B​OARD OF DIRECTORS

Daniel is a McGill University graduate working for an audio-video company in Vancouver. In 2014 he rode his bicycle from Montreal to Vancouver to raise money for the development of the Freedom Collaborative.

MEGAN PERRETT

F​REEDOM COLLABORATIVE NATIONAL COORDINATOR

Megan is a McGill University graduate, now located in Vancouver. Having worked in the fight to end human trafficking for the past several years, Megan carries her passion into her new role as the Freedom Collaborative Coordinator in Canada. She coordinated the social media and logistics of the Freedom Registry Ride.

KAREN PETERSON

B​OARD OF DIRECTORS

Karen is the VP, Global Learning with The FIELD Collaborative – a leadership development and training organization. Karen provides leadership for TFC’s international leadership development work, which prioritises women leaders in the developing world. She has worked closely with Chab Dai International, developing a customized training program for women leaders in the counter human trafficking movement.

LAURENCE RICHARD

BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Laurence has a Graduate Degree in Political Science and International Law from The University of Quebec in Montreal. Over the past few years she has been involved with several human and women’s rights organizations. She first heard about Chab Dai Canada through an education campaign and joined the Board in 2015.

SALLY RICHMOND

B​OARD OF DIRECTORS

Sally is the Executive Director of Logifem, an organisation that serves women and children in difficulty offering short to medium term accommodation with support services. Sally has been involved with counter human trafficking organisations for over ten years and has been involved with Chab Dai Canada since the organisation’s beginning.

JULIA SMITH-BRAKE

CO-FOUNDER & BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Julia works in counter-trafficking and development in Cambodia and is the co-founder of Chab Dai Canada. She has her M.Sc. in International Community Economic Development.

HELEN SWORN

ADVISOR TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Helen is from the UK and has been living and working in Cambodia for 16 years with her family. Before moving to Cambodia, she attended business school and worked in the corporate sector in the UK for more than 8 years.  Helen holds a masters degree in Leadership, Innovation and Change from York University, UK. Helen founded Chab Dai in 2005 and is now the International Director, having the privilege to work with and be inspired by a passionate team of change makers.
